Every year, EURORDIS marks the important date of international Rare Disease Day. The 2016 awareness campaign aims to demonstrate the importance of the Patient Voice as people living with a rare disease and their families are working to bring about change needed to improve their lives.
This video allows us all to share a special moment between Elisa, who is living with Williams syndrome, and her parents. Everybody experiences special moments with relatives, children, friends and colleagues. For people living with or affected by a rare disease, the emotion during these moments can be very strong as they leave behind the challenges they face on a daily basis.
