European Strategic Plan

The SIOPE Strategic Plan ‘A European Cancer Plan for Children and Adolescents’ – officially presented in 2015 during the European Cancer Congress and at the EU-policy level during the SIOPE-MAC Launch Event – is a key consensus document that defines the future efforts and initiatives of the paediatric cancer community.

SIOPE and the European paediatric-haematology oncology community have established the long-term sustainable Strategic Plan to increase the cure rate and the quality of cure for children and young people with cancer.

SIOP Europe's Strategic Plan Update (2021-2026) is an important and timely refresh of our key objectives towards achieving our mission to cure more, cure better and reduce inequalities throughout Europe.

The SIOP Europe Strategic Plan Update includes the summary of achievements since 2015, action plan for the next 5 years (2021-2026) and a detailed overview of the SIOP Europe’s oncopolicy programme, education and training opportunities and highlights initiatives and projects where joint efforts are needed. All our stakeholders invested in tackling the key issues faced by children and adolescents with cancer are invited to read this document, raise awareness, and engage in projects.
