TREL Publication: Improving outcomes for young Cancer Patients in EU

The recently concluded TREL project was designed to reinforce the research excellence of VULSK by enhancing its capabilities and its competencies in the domain of paediatric solid tumours. Through collaboration with eight leading European research institutions, TREL has succeeded in reinforcing VULSK's scientific, technical, and innovative resources in both translational and clinical research. This initiative has not only elevated the institution's and its scientists' research profile, but has also established long-term partnerships and technology transfers that will continue to benefit cancer research well beyond the completion of the project.

We are pleased to announce that the TREL project was recently featured in the Horizon EU Research and Innovation magazine. The article highlights the project's significant contributions to childhood cancer treatment through enhanced EU collaboration. Furthermore, the article refers to related initiatives, including NOPHO ALL-2008, ALLTogether, and the forthcoming SCARLET project, which will build upon the foundations established by TREL and facilitate further advancements in cancer research and care.
