Introducing a smartCARE Prototype
The smartCARE project celebrated another major milestone on 22 November 2024, with its final Showcase Event in Brussels and online. Hosted by the European Cancer Organisation, coordinator of the smartCARE consortium, the event brought together more than 200 participants from paediatric and adult oncology, cancer survivorship, and IT innovation. The gathering highlighted, once again, the collaborative spirit driving smartCARE.
Participants got an in-depth look into the development of the Cancer Survivor Smart Card prototype. There was even a hands-on Interactive Testing Lab where they could explore this beta version and its functionalities, and a workshop where they could share feedback and suggest improvements.
As we conclude this milestone, we would like to express our sincere gratitude to all those who have contributed to the success of the smartCARE project. From the dedicated consortium members and experts to the patient advocates and stakeholders, your hard work, passion, and commitment have been instrumental in bringing this vision to life. Together, we are shaping a brighter future for cancer survivors, and we look forward to continuing this transformative journey.
