The SIOP Europe Radiation Oncology Working Group has been in existence for more than 4 years, and gathers about 400 members: Radiation Oncologists, Physicists and Radiotherapists.
The SIOP Europe Radiation Oncology Working Group is currently launching the Technical Development and Innovation Forum. The objective of the forum is to facilitate the advancement of standards of best technical practice for professionals engaged in the delivery of paediatric radiotherapy. It aspires to serve as a conduit for interdisciplinary collaboration and networking among professionals, including but not limited to RTTs, physicists, dosimetrists, radiation oncologists and researchers, on technical innovations pertinent to paediatric radiation oncology. The Forum will work closely with the SIOPE Radiation Oncology Working Group Steering Committee.
The SIOPE Radiation Oncology Working Group has also been working on a survey of guided radiotherapy practice at SIOPE-affiliated centers. The results of this survey on SGRT practice, conducted in 2021 and 2023 at SIOPE-affiliated centers, were recently published here.

A survey on the role of palliative radiotherapy in the paediatric patient is currently open. This survey, jointly conducted with the SIOPE Radiation Oncology Working group and the SIOPE Palliative Care Working Group aims to monitor the use of palliative radiotherapy in clinical practice in the paediatric population.
