About JANE
JANE brings together oncology leaders, researchers, and healthcare professionals to pave the way for seven new Networks of Expertise. These networks, part of the Europe's Beating Cancer Plan, will revolutionize cancer care by focusing on: Complex and poor prognosis cancers, palliative care, survivorship, personalized primary and secondary cancer prevention, omics technologies, Hi-tech medical resources, adolescents, and young adults (AYA) with cancer.
SIOP Europe attended the final Stakeholder Meeting event of the EU Joint Action on Networks of Expertise (JANE) at the Thon Hotel in Brussels on September 24, and at the EU Parliament on September 25. SIOP Europe attended the event at the European Parliament, where the Joint Action on Networks of Expertise (JANE) presented its ambitious vision for tackling healthcare at EU level and improving healthcare through collaboration across these seven networks of expertise in oncology.
SIOP Europe was there to represent childhood and adolescent oncology, helping to shape the future of cancer care for young patients. In this revolutionary project, SIOP Europe will support Andrea Ferrari, Steering Committee member of the SIOPE AYA Committee. This is a crucial step towards revolutionizing cancer care in Europe, providing cutting-edge resources and expert care to those who need it the most.
