News from INTERACT-EUROPE 100

INTERACT-EUROPE 100 is an ambitious project to provide cancer care professionals with inter-specialty cancer training, necessary to enhance multidisciplinary collaboration in at least 100 Cancer Centres across Europe. 

Between 24 and 26 January, selected trainers gathered for a three-day event at Barcelona Children's Hospital Sant Joan de Déu. The event featured dedicated workshops focusing on key areas of the Inter-Specialty Cancer Training Programme, including: Contemporary pedagogical approaches, Person-centred approach in cancer care, ISCTP content and guidelines for delivery, Interprofessional practice in cancer care continuum. 

More Train-the-Trainer courses are planned for this year. The last session was hosted by INTERACT-EUROPE 100 partner and Work Package 2 co-leader, Turku University of Applied Sciences in Finland, from 26 to 28 March. 

Following this, additional Train-the-Trainer courses are scheduled for:  

·      Lisbon, Hospital São Fransisco Xavier – 9-11 May  

·      Heidelberg, Universitätsklinikum Heidelberg – 3-5 July 

·      Athens, Hygeia-Mitera Hospital - 12-14 September 

·      Ljubljana, Institute of Oncology Ljubljana – 7-9 November
