New Horizon 2020 Calls - Working Programme 2017

The updated version of the Horizon 2020 Working Programme 2017 has been recently made available by the European Commission. (Kindly note that the documents refer to 2016 – 2017 of which the 2017 part has been updated.) The EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation - Horizon 2020, operates through annual Working Programmes that define the grant opportunities for the next 12 months. The thematic part of particular relevance to Paediatric Haematology-Oncology is  8. Health, demographic change and well-being (available online here) and presents the following highlights:
  • There are fifteen (15) calls under the thematic area ‘Health, demographic change and well-being’
  • Ten (10) calls from these are already open since the end of July and can be viewed here (for specific topics please select as relevant e.g. Societal challenges – Health, demographic change and well-being)
  • For 2-phase calls, the first deadline is 4 October 2016
  • The schedule and topics of all 15 ‘Health, demographic change and well-being’ calls is summarised in this overview document.
The SIOPE office can facilitate information-sharing on applications from the paediatric haemato-oncology community. For this reason, we warmly invite you to let us know should you intend to apply for calls under Horizon 2020 Work Programme 2017, in relation to the ‘Health, demographic change and well-being’ or to other thematic parts.
