We are pleased to announce the second Translational Cancer Research Course organized by the EurocanPlatform in collaboration with ENCCA WP 15 “Education and Training”, ECancer, DKFZ German Cancer Consortium, ECCO and OECI that will take place on 20-24 October 2014 in Portugal.
It’s a 5-day programme of lectures and group discussions which will cover all aspects of the translational research including : tumor biology , cell cycle and cancer , cancer stem cells , tumor microenviroment , inflammation , cancer epigenomics , animal models of cancer, omics technologies , drugging the cancer genome , precision therapy , biomarkers and clinical trials , medical oncology , molecular prevention and clinical epidemiology The course will provide the opportunity to interact with an expert faculty of International speakers and to network with fellow participants. 100 attendees will be accepted, of which 80 should be young scientists (PhD, MD/ PhD, post-doctoral fellows). Very low registration fee will cover 5 nights’ accommodation, breakfast, lunch and all course material. 20 EurocanPlatform-OECI fellowships will be available for PhD and postdoctoral fellows with no more than 5 years’ postdoc experience.
