'Challenges for Children and Adolescents With Cancer in Europe: The SIOP-Europe Agenda' (G. Vassal et al., April 2014) is a new outstanding publication from the SIOPE and ENCCA partners, which has just been published on the Pediatric Blood and Cancer journal.
This publication describes in-depth the European paediatric oncology community's vision for the future and its current activities, considerably increasing in scope and importance. This paper is of fundamental importance, as it provides a shared and multidisciplinary approach on how this community will shape research, care, treatment and training in the times to come, in order to improve the quality-of-cure of childhood cancer patients and survivors on our continent.
