Help us understand psychosocial care across Europe
We invite paediatric oncology hospitals across Europe to participate in a survey mapping how psychosocial care is organised and delivered for children and young people with cancer and their families.
This survey is part of the EU co-funded ONCOME and IMPACT-EU projects. Together, these projects aim to develop a comprehensive picture of psychosocial care in paediatric oncology across Europe, identify differences and inequalities in care provision, and help inform future improvements in psychosocial care.
What do we mean by psychosocial care?
For this survey, psychosocial care refers to structured care provided by professionals with recognised training in psychosocial disciplines, such as:
- Psychology
- Neuropsychology
- Social work
- Child life services
- Other recognised psychosocial care professions
What are we mapping?
The survey aims to understand what psychosocial care is available at paediatric oncology hospitals, how it is organised, and how it is delivered.
This includes information such as:
- What types of psychosocial services and interventions are provided
- Staffing, resources and organizational structures
- Barriers and facilitators to providing psychosocial care
Who should complete the survey?
Ideally, the psychosocial care team at each paediatric oncology site should complete the survey jointly, providing one response per hospital/site.
The survey takes approximately 20–30 minutes to complete. The survey is hosted on a secure and anonymous online platform.
If needed, you may use your browser's built-in Google Translate function to translate the survey into your preferred language.

To ensure that the survey reaches the appropriate country-specific version, please select the link according to the location of your paediatric oncology hospital.
