The third and final module of the 1st SIOP Europe Course in Paediatric Oncology took place 5-8 June 2024 in San Sebastiano da Po (Torino), Italy.
Participants worked in small working groups on cases, including osteosacrcoma, Burkitt lymphoma, Ewing sarcoma and aculte myeloid leukemia. Speakers covered topics such as pharmacological and non-pharmacologic anti-infectious prophylaxis treatment, individual participant data meta-analysis, diagnositics and therapeutics in retinoblastoma, leukemia predisposition and prevention, anaplastic large cell lymphoma, and state of the art and ruture of Ewing sarcoma. Finally, there was a workshop on communication with parents and patients.
