Background

Despite advances in treatment and care, significant disparities persist across Europe, affecting access to essential medicines, care, and research, as well as the quality of life for young patients. Ensuring access to high-quality cross-border care and research for children with cancer remains a major challenge across Europe. EU decision-makers, healthcare professionals, and patient advocates need to work together to ensure that every child has access to the treatment they need.
