Eugenia Trigoso Arjona has dedicated her professional career to both nursing and the educational training of young nurses and students. Her work in nursing education and training has taken place in clinical settings, at the bedside, and within continuing education and training programs as part of her daily responsibilities at the University Hospital “LA FE” in Valencia, Spain.
As a member of the clinical staff in the Hemato-Oncology Unit, she has gained firsthand insight into the daily realities of both patients and nurses in hospital settings. This experience has led her to focus on promoting clinical practice, education, and research for nurses within the hospital. One of her primary responsibilities involves training undergraduate and postgraduate students, providing them with knowledge and expertise in haemato-oncology and hematopoietic stem cell transplants.
Her academic career includes roles as a lecturer at the university and later as an associate professor in the Nurse Master’s Degree program at the University of Valencia—one of her most rewarding professional achievements. She also collaborates in supervising final Master’s projects at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Barcelona and has led a group of nursing students in the Paediatric Training Course at the European University of Valencia.
In recent years, she has participated in various organizations and scientific committees as both a national and international speaker. She has also conducted educational workshops at the national and international levels for different organizations, serving as a scientific committee member for EBMT (European Bone Marrow Transplantation) and SEEO (Spanish Oncology Nurses Society).
