ESO-SIOPE Clinical Training Centres - Paediatric Fellowship Programme

ESO and SIOP Europe's joint Fellowship Programme is for young paediatric haematologists and oncologists to advance their clinical experience at renowned centres across Europe.

The programme supports young and promising paediatric oncologists in their education and career development in cancer care. The training familiarises the trainees with all diseases of paediatric haematology and oncology and instructs them in diagnostics and therapy. The programme gives oncologists of the future the opportunity to spend 3 to 6 months at a Centre of Excellence in Europe. They will grow their knowledge in paediatric haematology and oncology and experience a multi-disciplinary clinical setting specifically designed to address their goals. It is also expected that participants will acquire expertise in all issues dealing with the running of a successful cancer unit, including hospital management issues such as quality control.

Selected applicants for the ESO – SIOP Europe Clinical Training Centres Fellowship Programme who have successfully passed their 3 to 6 months stay at the host institution are strongly supported in applying for the upcoming 3 to 4 year SIOP Europe Course in Paediatric Haematology and Oncology as a further part of their education in the field.
