The Clinical and Translational Cancer Research Group of Hospital La Fe (Valencia, Spain) won a 'Technology Contribution' Award for its participation in the ExPO-r-Net project and in the future network of excellence in paediatric oncology. This yearly award (IV edition) has been given by Sanitaria 2000 (a group of medical journals in Spain in collaboration with Jansen as another sponsor) to La Fe, in a ceremony where other 15 awards have been assigned to projects in different categories.
This is a great news for all ExPO-r-Net project partners, including SIOPE, and clearly demonstrates the wide appreciation that this innovative project is receiving for its overall objective to address the existing inequalities in the provision of paediatric oncology care across Europe.
