We received 7 applications to become a Steering Committee member of the SIOP Europe Radiation Oncology Working Group.
By the end of March, two new steering committee members among seven applicants were elected for the SIOP Europe Radiation Oncology Working Group: Stephanie Bolle (Paris, France) and Yasmin Lassen (Aarhus, Denmark) were elected and will join Cathy Dunlea (London, UK), Semi Harrabi (Heidelberg, Germany), Geert Janssens (Utrecht, Netherlands), Anne Laprie (Toulouse, France), and Gillian Whitfield (Manchester, UK) in the Steering Committee.
We’d like to thank the outgoing Steering Committee members Tom Boterberg and Mark Gaze for their essential contribution to the inaugural years of the Group.
In addition, the Group recently launched an “endorsement policy”, welcoming new research ideas and project proposals that could benefit from distribution or participation by a larger group of radiation oncology professionals, which can be reached via the SIOP Europe Radiation Oncology Working Group network.
