The aim of the TREL project is to improve the survival of children with malignant tumors in Lithuania by actively initiating scientific activities and sharing the knowledge with more experienced partners.
Even though we had hoped to meet in person in Vilnius, project partners met virtually for an update from each work package at the end of April. The following day, a multidisciplinary workshop on clinical trials in paediatric oncology took place. Speakers from across Europe presented their experiences with trials in paediatric renal tumours, neuroblastoma and CNS tumours. Lithuanian speakers discussed their involvement and progress in these trials facilitated through the TREL project.
The project partners are also pleased to announce that a first TREL project publication has been published on the “Development of a questionnaire to evaluate female fertility care in paediatric oncology, a TREL initiative” which can be accessed here.
