News from the Young SIOPE

22/04/2024

In early March, the Living Beyond Cancer: survivorship and late-effects course was held online, organized jointly by PanCare, CCI-Europe, SIOPE, and our Young SIOPE Group. The 2-day course brought together healthcare professionals, patient/parent representatives, and paediatric cancer survivors. It was attended by 40 enthusiastic participants from diverse countries, facilitating discussions on survivorship challenges. The interactive format included live discussions, quick questions, and roundtables, fostering multidisciplinary dialogue and addressing crucial care needs across Europe.

For the upcoming SIOPE Annual Meeting in Milano, the Young SIOPE Steering Committee has prepared a few events that will pique your interest and pick your brains.

We are glad to bring to you:

  • Joint Sessions with European Clinical Trial Groups from SIOPE

  • Young SIOPE Networking Event (Thur, May 16, 8 PM): Come and meet fellow Young SIOPE members. A networking opportunity for young European paediatric oncology community members to enjoy a walking dinner.
