SurPass Project Plenary Meeting in Mainz: Advancing the Future of Childhood Cancer Survivor Care

The SurPass project held a plenary meeting in Mainz, Germany, on 4-5 March 2025, bringing together stakeholders to discuss updates, share insights, and strategize for the future.

SurPass: A Multi-Country Initiative

SurPass is conducting a multi-country implementation study involving over 300 childhood and adolescent cancer survivors. This initiative assesses the feasibility, costs, and impact of deploying SurPass v2.0 in Austria, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Lithuania, and Spain. By engaging with survivors in diverse healthcare settings, the project aims to refine its approach and ensure long-term sustainability.

SurPass Implementation Toolkit

A key outcome of this initiative is the SurPass Implementation Toolkit, designed to facilitate broader adoption across Europe. Once completed, the toolkit will be freely available, offering practical guidance to healthcare providers, researchers, and policymakers to enhance survivorship care.

With collaboration at its core, the meeting in Mainz reaffirmed the commitment of all partners to improving the quality of life for childhood and adolescent cancer survivors. The project's findings and tools will play a pivotal role in shaping survivorship care across Europe.
