On 24 June 2026 PanCare4AYA attended a webinar to discuss cancer late effects, and how do they uniquely affect Adolescents and Young Adults (AYA).
On June 30th, SIOPE attended online the First Joint AYA Stakeholder Forum hosted by three EU-funded projects PanCare4AYA, PredictAYA and STRONG-AYA. This online event was the opportunity to discuss the specific clinical and psychosocial needs faced by the adolescents and young adults with cancer during and after-treatment, including late side effects, fertility and reproductive health issues, and impacts on mental health and quality of life.
The forum brought together healthcare professionals, patient advocates, researchers, project representatives and policymakers who discussed how research can be translated into better care, guidelines and policy across Europe.
