During Childhood Cancer Awareness Month (September 2016), CCLG are launching another funding round of short-term pilot grants for novel and innovative biological studies into paediatric cancers.
These grants are to enable researchers to access samples from the national CCLG Tissue Bank in order to obtain preliminary data that will lead to more extensive biological studies, supported by larger project/programme grants from major funding bodies.
Funding is available for projects investigating:
- Haepatoblastoma
- Leukaemia (ALL solid tumour samples only)
- Non-Hodgkin lymphoma (B-cell and T-cell variants)
- Rare tumours (including carcinoma and sarcoma subtypes)
- Rhabdoid tumours
